th-ranked Washburn, the road doesn't get much easier as the Bison travel to Springfield, Missouri, this Friday to take on the 13
th-ranked Drury Panthers before taking on Lindenwood University on Saturday. The Bison head to Springfield after dropping a hard-fought decision to the Ichabods in Oklahoma City, 5-4.
Drury entered the season ranked 13
th according to the ITA Division II rankings and, similar to the Bison, are favorites to win their conference. The Panthers won their season opener against Washburn, 6-3, and are off to a 4-0 start, with their most recent victory coming against Nebraska-Kearney, 5-4.
The Bison's opponent on Saturday, the Lindenwood Lions, came into the year ranked sixth in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Coaches Poll. The Lions enter Saturday's matchup with a 1-0 record after defeating William Jewell College, 8-1.
