SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist received three honors for women's soccer from the Great American Conference, the league announced Tuesday.

Ruth King earned co-Offensive Player of the Week,
Jennifer Goethe was named Defensive Player of the Week and
Emily Griffith obtained Goalkeeper of the Week.

King, a junior forward from Shawnee, scored four goals in the win against Southern Nazarene. It was the third-most in the history of OBU women's soccer. This is King's first GAC honor of the season. She also won the honor Oct. 10 of last season.

Goethe, a senior defender from Shawnee, scored a goal from midfield and anchored a back line that allowed one goal on 19 shots in wins over SNU and East Central. Goethe also won the award last week and has won the honor six times – twice in each of the last two years as well.

Griffith, a redshirt sophomore from Parker, Colorado, allowed one goal in 135 minutes in goal and recorded five saves. Griffith, who also won the award last week, also won three times as a freshman.
