Lady Bison Picked 11th in GAC Poll

SHAWNEE – Coaches of the Great American Conference expect Oklahoma Baptist to finish solidly in 11^th in the 2018 softball standings, the preseason coaches' poll revealed Tuesday.
 
Picked ninth last season, the Lady Bison finished 10^th before finishing the year with six consecutive postseason wins to claim the NCCAA national championship.
 
The Lady Bison return three pitchers, three starting infielders and two starting outfielders from last year's 28-29 squad.
 
OBU opens the season Feb. 2 at the Southeastern Regional Invitational in Durant, taking on Tarleton State, Pittsburg State, Washburn and Missouri Southern State in the opening weekend.
