SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist steps back on the court Friday for a pair of matches at the Southwest Baptist Tournament in Bolivar, Missouri. The Lady Bison will face Fort Lewis College at 9 a.m. before wrapping up the day against Drury at 1 p.m.

OBU is 2-2 on the season and looking to get back on the winning track after dropping two highly competitive matches at the Bahama House Classic last Saturday. After a sweep of Barton College and a win over host school Embry-Riddle (Fla.) Friday, the Lady Bison fell to Missouri S&T in four sets and Lynn in a five-set thriller.

First up on Friday is 3-1 Fort Lewis College, members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. It will be the first meeting between the schools in volleyball. The Skyhawks average 12.3 kills per set and limit the opposition to 8.2. Bailey Longacre leads the team with 2.92 kills per set and Kendra Swackenberg has 128 assists through four matches for a 9.85 assists per set average. Megan Graefe has held down the back line with 5.54 digs per set and Maddie LeBlanc has 14.0 blocks to lead the team.

Later Friday afternoon, the Lady Bison will set their sights on 3-1 Drury. The Panthers average 13.7 kills per set on a .213 attack percentage. Bentley Mara leads the Panthers with 50 kills, averaging 3.57 per set on a .339 attack percentage. Kendra Sater leads the team with 11.14 assists per set, Lily Hunter has 14.0 blocks and Bree Schmidt has 59 digs through four matches. Friday's match will mark the third-ever meeting between the two programs and the first since 1986. OBU split the previous two matches against the Panthers.

Junior right side hitter
Nicole Fleitman has filled up the stat sheet early in the season, averaging 2.31 kills, 2.50 assists, 2.06 digs and 1.06 blocks per set.
Hayden Blair has recorded 108 assists for a 6.75 per-set average to lead the team. Redshirt freshman
Mikayla Watson has returned to form after missing most of last season due to injury. Watson has paced OBU with 41 total kills and freshman
Malia Leatherland is right behind with 40 in her first four matches wearing green and gold.

Cadyn Laing have teamed up for 23.0 and 22.0 total blocks, respectively. Libero
Kelsi Chavez owns a 3.75 digs per set average to lead the team. The Lady Bison have a .202 team attack percentage while holding opponents to .128.
