SHAWNEE – Three members of the Oklahoma Baptist women's swimming and diving team were named to the preseason All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team, it was announced Thursday.

Juliana Cifuentes,
Victoria Fonville, and
Tammy Price each earned the preseason honor after picking up multiple All-RMAC awards at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Cifuentes is a sophomore from Paipa, Colombia, that earned First Team All-RMAC status in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke and the 400-yard medley relay last season. She picked up Second Team honors in the 200-yard and 400-yard individual medley and the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Fonville earned All-RMAC distinction in six events at the RMAC Championships in February and was named the RMAC Swimmer of the Week last October. A sophomore from Jacksonville, Florida, Fonville was named to the First Team in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard medley relay. Her Second Team honors came from the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle events.

Tammy Price is a native of Grahamstown, South Africa. At last season's RMAC Championships, she earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard medley relay.

The 2018 RMAC Championships will take place in Lewisville, Texas, from Feb. 14-17.Â
