Hannah White has been named the Great American Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
White, a Norman native, played an integral part in helping the Lady Bison (6-1, 2-0 GAC) to a perfect 3-0 mark last week, including a pair of conference wins over Ouachita Baptist and Harding. The midfielder tallied a goal in each match, while also providing the assist for the match-winning goal in the final minute against Texas Woman's. White took 12 shots last week, converting her chances at a .250 clip. The weekly honor is the first of her young career.
Oklahoma Baptist has now had four different Lady Bison earn conference player of the week awards in 2017, though White is the first to be claim the award for the offensive side of the ball.
The Lady Bison look to extend their lead atop the GAC standings when they face Southern Nazarene in rivalry action tonight in Bethany at 7 p.m.
