Lady Bison Named CSCAA Scholar All-America

SHAWNEE – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that the Oklahoma Baptist women's swimming & diving team earned Scholar All-America recognition.
 
The Lady Bison posted a combined grade point average of 3.41 during the spring 2017 semester. To be eligible for Scholar All-America, a team must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
 
Victoria Fonville was named CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention. Fonville is a freshman from Ponte Vedra, Florida. She was named First Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in four events, and was a Second Team selection in two additional events this year.
 
Qualifications for the honor include a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and achieving a "B" time standard or competing at a regional or zone qualifying meet.
