MOBILE, Ala. – Oklahoma Baptist opened pool play at the NCCAA Women's Tennis Championship with a 5-0 win over Campbellsville.
Rouxanne Janse van Rensburg and
Kim Moosbacher won at No. 1 doubles, 8-3,
Caroline Abbe and
Alex Bowers scored an 8-2 win at No. 3 and
Olivia Charvat and
Madeleine Boepple got an 8-0 shutout at No. 2.
Boepple took a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles and Abbe dispatched her opponent at No. 6 singles in 6-0, 6-0 fashion.
The remainder of other four singles matches were halted with OBU's entrants all up one set.
The Lady Bison continue in pool play at 2:30 p.m. against Emmanuel College.
