MOBILE, Ala. – Oklahoma Baptist shut out Dallas Baptist for the second time this postseason, claiming a 5-0 win at the NCCAA Men's Tennis Tournament Tuesday.
Kevin Andrusch and
Gianluca Galdi at No. 1 and
Thomas Ackerknecht and
Luis Romero at No. 2 doubles both scored 8-3 wins while
Lucas Castelo Branco and
Matias Le Fort got an 8-0 shutout.
Andrusch won at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-1 and Castelo Branco won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 for the needed two wins in singles.
OBU was up a set in each of the other four singles when the match was clinched.
The Bison continue pool play at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, taking on Cedarville.
