D2CCA Honors Three Bison

SHAWNEE – Three Oklahoma Baptist Bison were honored by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association as All-Central Region selections.
 
Catcher Juan Gonzales, pitcher Jinny Parra and outfielder Josh Timms were all voted to the Second Team.
 
Gonzales, a junior from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, bats .325 with four home runs and 43 runs batted in. He has thrown out 15 of 28 base-stealers this season.
 
Parra, a senior from Jacaagua Medio, Dominican Republic, set the school wins record with 38 and is 8-3 with a 2.60 earned run average.
 
Timms, a junior left fielder from Mansfield, Texas, is hitting .378 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs.
