Gonzalez Earns All-Region Honors

SHAWNEE – Two Oklahoma Baptist Bison were honored by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) as All-Central Region.
 
Juan Gonzales earned Second-Team All-Region as a catcher and Josh Timms was honorable mention as an outfielder.
 
Gonzales, a junior from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, bats .325 with four home runs and 43 runs batted in. He has thrown out 15 of 28 base-stealers this season.
 
Timms, a junior left fielder from Mansfield, Texas, is hitting .378 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs.
