MOBILE, Ala. – Oklahoma Baptist plays for its first men's tennis national championship Friday after knocking off Dallas Baptist, 5-0, Thursday in the semifinals of the NCCAA Men's Tennis Championships.

It is the third time this postseason the Bison have recorded a 5-0 win over the Patriots.

The Bison play Campbellsville in the championship match starting at 9 a.m. Friday. Campbellsville is 24-3 this season and has won 17 consecutive matches. OBU is 25-5 and owns a 14-match win streak.

Gianluca Galdi at No. 1 and
Lucas Castelo Branco and
Matias Le Fort at No. 2 scored 8-1 doubles victories with
Babji Atturu and Patrick Sims claiming an 8-4 win.

Castelo Branco won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Atturu took a 6-0, 6-3 decision at No. 5 to give OBU the victory. All other OBU singles entrants were up one set on their DBU opponents.
