Lady Bison Win Central Title

ABILENE, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist claimed the NCCAA Central Region Tournament title Saturday with a 5-0 win over McMurry.
 
The Lady Bison earned the automatic berth to the NCCAA National Tournament in Mobile, Alabama, which runs May 9-12.
 
The doubles teams Rouxanne Janse van Rensburg and Kim Moosbacher, Olivia Charvat and Madeleine Boepple, and Carline Abbe and Alex Bowers all scored 8-0 shutouts Saturday.
 
Charvat, playing at No. 1 singles, and Abbe, playing at No. 4, clinched the match, both winning 6-1, 6-0.
