Bison Shut Down Dallas Baptist

ABILENE, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist scored a 5-0 win over Dallas Baptist in their first match at the NCCAA Central Regional Friday.
 
OBU scored a pair of 8-2 doubles wins from No. 1 team Kevin Andrusch and Gianluca Galdi and No. 3 Thomas Ackerknecht and Ian Sims. Lucas Castelo Branco and Matias Le Fort won their match 8-6 for a doubles sweep.
 
Ackerknecht won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Andrusch closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-1 No. 1 singles win.
 
The Bison play for the region crown, taking on Colorado Christian at 8:30 a.m., Saturday.
