GAC Honors Ackerknecht

SHAWNEE – The Great American Conference picked Thomas Ackerknecht as its Men's Tennis Player of the Week, it announced Wednesday.
 
Ackerknecht is a senior from Antofagasta, Chile. He closed out his GAC season undefeated in both singles and doubles. Against Harding, he scored an 8-4 win with partner Luis Romero. In singles, his 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 5 clinched both the match and OBU's first Great American Conference men's tennis title.
