GAC Honors Castelo Branco

SHAWNEE – The Great American Conference honored Lucas Castelo Branco with the Men's Tennis Player of the Week award on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Castelo Branco joins Kevin Andrusch as the only other Bison to do so this season.
 
Against John Brown, the sophomore and Brazil native recorded a straight-set victory in No. 1 singles, while also defeating their opponent 8-1 in doubles with the help of partner Gianluca Galdi.
 
Castelo Branco assisted the Bison's sweep of Arkansas-Fort Smith, taking No. 2 singles in straight sets and posting a 9-7 win in doubles play.
