Bison Shut Out Fort Smith

FORT SMITH, Ark. – OBU men's tennis downed fellow Division II opponent Arkansas-Fort Smith by way of a 9-0 sweep Tuesday afternoon.
 
The sweep is the Bison's third in a row and their fourth win on the same run.
 
No singles match reached a third set as Thomas Achkernecht and Luis Romero won No. 1 doubles 8-1, followed by pairs of Gianluca Galdi/Lucas Castelo Branco and Kevin Andrusch/Matias Le Fort took their matches 9-7 and 8-3 respectively.
 
Now 5-3, OBU will make the short trek to Oklahoma City to take on Bethel College (KS) and Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.
