NCCAA Selects Castelo Branco for Honor

SHAWNEE – The National Christian College Athletics Association awarded sophomore Lucas Castelo Branco with the Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors Tuesday morning.
 
Castelo Branco went unchallenged through the team's week in Florida, completing straight set wins over Bloomsburg, St. Thomas Aquinas and Millersville University. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has the Brazil native ranked 20^th in the central region, as he and partner Gianluca Galdi sit sixth in the doubles rankings.
 
Castelo Branco has helped OBU to four sweeps out of their nine wins. He and Bison tennis return to action Wednesday as they take on Southwestern Christian and Oklahoma Wesleyan at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Bison Hill.
