TAHLEQUAH – Oklahoma Baptist scored another Top 25 win, knocking off No. 9 Northeastern State Thursday on the road, 5-4.

The Lady Bison trailed 2-1 after doubles with Rouxanne Janse van Rensburg and
Kim Moosbacher getting the lone win at No. 1, 8-6, over the fourth-ranked doubles team in the nation.

Alex Bowers scored straight set singles wins.

The match came down to No. 3 singles where Moosbacher took a three-set thriller, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.

The win is the third OBU victory over a ranked team and the second in a row against a Top 20 squad.

Now 4-1, the Lady Bison return to action Wednesday with a 2 p.m. home match against Central Oklahoma.
