OBU Scores 5-4 Win Over No. 17 Cameron

SHAWNEE – The Lady Bison tennis team of Oklahoma Baptist scored a 5-4 win over No. 17 Cameron in their home opener Tuesday at the OBU Tennis Courts.
 
Rouxanne Janse van Rensburg had no trouble with No. 21 Paula Gutierrez, scoring a 6-0, 6-3 win.
 
Olivia Charvat pushed No. 32 Zhenia Shviadok to three sets before falling at No. 2 singles.
 
Kim Moosbacher and Alex Bowers pulled together a pair of straight-set wins with Bowers clinching the match with her victory.
 
Janse van Rensburg and Moosbacher also won at No. 1 doubles with Charvat and Madeleine Boepple taking No. 2 doubles.
 
Now 3-1 on the season, the Lady Bison visit No. 10 Northeastern State in Tahlequah Thursday at 1 p.m.
