Cameron Trims Bison, 5-4

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist dropped a hard-fought match to 16^th-ranked Cameron, 5-4, Tuesday.
 
The Bison came up just short on a pair of three-set singles matches and a 9-7 doubles match.
 
"We're right there," said OBU Coach Peter McCorkle about his team's ability to compete with the top teams in NCAA Division II.
 
Kevin Andrusch, Matias Le Fort and Gianluca Galdi won in straight sets in singles.
 
Lucas Castelo Branco and Galdi pushed 17^th-ranked Felipe Oyarzun and Mateo Velasco in No. 1 doubles before falling, 8-5.
 
Luis Romero and Thomas Ackerknecht scored an 8-3 win in second doubles.
 
Now 1-3 on the season, the Bison head to Tulsa Saturday to take on Oral Roberts.
