OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Baptist STUNT defeated the University of Oklahoma 14-2 in the season opener Friday night at Westmoore High School.

The Lady Bison started strong, building a 3-1 lead after the first quarter.

OBU shut out the Sooners in the second and third quarters, extending the lead to 11-1 before closing out OU in the fourth.

"After our first year as a program and competing STUNT, we took what we learned last year and trained extremely hard this off season," said head cheerleading coach
Jessica Stiles.

"To compete as well as we did in our very first game of the season is very exciting. Our athletes are working extremely hard and it is showing."

Now 1-0, the Lady Bison will face Oklahoma State University at noon Saturday before wrapping up the weekend against Drury at 1 p.m.
