Cheer Recap
OBU Cheer delivered another historic showing on the national stage at the NCA National Championships, collecting multiple titles across divisions and continuing its rapid rise as a national power.

This season, they narrowly missed another Grand Championship, finishing second overall by just 0.37 points while outscoring elite programs including Louisville, Navarro, Alma College, and Brenau University in the Grand Championship round.
Team Gold, competing in D2 Intermediate All Girl, broke through after several runner-up finishes by capturing the national championship. The squad recorded the highest intermediate score across all divisions, earning the Intermediate Grand Title.
Team White, the D2 Spirit Rally team added just last year, continued its dominance by winning its second consecutive national championship. The team also posted the highest Spirit Rally score across all divisions to secure the Spirit Rally Grand Title.
Head Cheer Coach
Jessica Wolverton had this to say "This year's success is a testament to something much deeper than wins. This level of success is never by accident- it's built on genuine friendships, relentless hard work, and a culture that keeps Christ at the center of our everyday lives. Winning multiple titles in a single year is incredibly special, and it's a direct reflection of who these individuals are on and off the mat. I couldn't be more proud of our athletes and our staff!"
