SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist launches the spring tennis season Saturday against Washburn at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center at 3 p.m.
 
While it is the opener for both OBU squads, Washburn comes in with a few matches under its belt. The Ichabod men are 3-1 and ranked 28^th in the nation and fifth in the region.
 
Washburn edged OBU in Orlando, Florida, last season, 5-4, with four singles matches going to third sets.
 
The Washburn women also are 3-1 and ranked 10^th in region. The Lady Bison scored a 9-0 win over the Ichabods last season. The Lady Bison are ranked eighth regionally.
