Meet Goalkeeper Emily Griffith

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer has announced the signing of University of New Mexico transfer Emily Griffith.
 
Griffith is a sophomore goalkeeper from Parker, Colorado, where she attended Regis Jesuit High School. She was named Defensive Player of the Year her junior year of high school, and her team was ranked in the top five in the state her senior year.
 
"I wanted to be surrounded with people who believed similar to me and OBU has a great science program. I also love the family environment of OBU. The soccer team was welcoming and they are a very talented team. I am excited to play for Coach White," said Griffith.
 
Emily is the daughter of Mark and Mary Griffith. She was also recruited by Seattle Pacific University, Rice, Creighton, and Mesa.
