SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist wraps up the 2017 football season Saturday at Southern Nazarene in a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Isaiah Mallory eclipsed the 2,000-yards rushing mark for his career last week but left the game with a knee injury.
Darrian Moss, who just returned from injury last week, is expected to get the start this week. Moss has 139 yards on 38 totes this season in six games.

Despite starting the season in a non-starting role, red-shirt freshman
Preston Haire ranks third in the Great American Conference at 212.2 yards per game. He has thrown for 2122 yards and needs 133 to match
Dezmond Stegall's school record of 2,255 passing yards in a season.

Sixteen different Bison have receptions this season and half of those players have touchdown catches.
Stephan Turner leads the team and is sixth in the GAC with 44 receptions while
Cagney Roberson has the team lead and is fourth in the GAC with 596 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Roberson also now owns the yards per reception lead at 15.3. Turner, Roberson and
Alex Lewis combine for 12 catches per game.

Oklahoma Baptist had its string of three consecutive games without a sack snapped Saturday when Northwestern got through for one sack. OBU has allowed seven sacks in 10 games, which ranks eighth in NCAA Division II.

That offense will face a SNU defense with varied leaders. Josh Jordan needs 11 tackles to reach triple digits and leads SNU with 89 takedowns. He also leads the team with four interceptions while Derrick Carmouche has a team-best six pass break-ups. Zack Loyd and Breyon Jackson have been monsters in the backfield, registering five and four sacks, respectively.

OBU's
Daniel Moniz has led the defensive line the last two games and now has a team-leading 3.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. He is tied for eighth in the GAC in sacks and fourth in tackles for loss.

Josh Arnold leads the Bison with 80 tackles this season, leading the team with 43 solo tackles and 37 assisted tackles.
Lane Martin gets his second start at linebacker this week. Martin has 18 tackles this season

Myles Russell leads the defensive backs with 62 tackles this season, a mark that places him second on the team and 15th in the GAC.
Dante Foster has 59 tackles, including six tackles for loss. Foster leads the team with four passes broken up.

As for the SNU offense, quarterback Jacob Spady leads the Crimson with 804 yards rushing on 162 carries, averaging five yards per carry. He's scored on the ground nine times. Spady also has thrown for 914 yards, completing 90 of 176 attempts. He has thrown eight interceptions and 10 touchdowns. Spady has completed passes to only nine different receivers with Reid Roelofs (24 catches, 323 yards, 6 touchdowns), Zach Walker (23, 227, 3) and Reese Carlson (20, 140, 0) being his main targets.

Southern Nazarene lost its bid at a first winning Division II season last week when the Crimson Storm swooned at Southwestern Oklahoma State's Homecoming. SNU has lost four of its last five games and holds a 1-4 record at Southern Nazarene Football Stadium this season.
