SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer continues their seven-match homestand when they welcome Northwestern Oklahoma State to the OBU Soccer Complex on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 4 p.m., pitting two of the hottest teams in the Great American Conference against each other.
Oklahoma Baptist (8-1-1, 4-0-1 GAC) boasts a GAC-best six-match unbeaten streak and sits atop the league table. Northwestern Oklahoma State (3-7-1, 2-3 GAC) has shaken off a poor 0-7-1 start, winning three straight games, including GAC tilts against Harding and Southern Nazarene.
The Lady Bison are averaging 2.3 goals and 21.4 shots per match at the season's midway point.
Ruth King leads the team with six goals and six assists for 18 points, while
Hannah White is second the team with five goals and one assist.
Abigail Hicks opened her 2017 account in Thursday's draw with Southwestern Oklahoma State, and overall 10 different OBU players have scored this season.
