Lady Bison Eighth in New Ranking

SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist women's swimming and diving team is eighth in the latest CollegeSwimming.com poll, released Tuesday.
 
OBU is just 0.38 points off the pace of West Chester for seventh. Queens (North Carolina) is first at 653.72.
 
"We haven't yet put it all together, but we will soon," said OBU Coach Sam Freas.
 
Victoria Fonville is second and Tamlyn Price third in the 50 free. Fonville is third in the 100 free.
 
Celina Marquez is second in the 200 backstroke, No. 6 in the 100 backstroke and seventh in the 100 butterfly.
 
Juliana Cifuentes is sixth in the 200 individual medley, seventh in the 200 breaststroke and 10^th in the 100 breaststroke.
 
In the relay events, OBU is sixth in the 400 free, seventh in the 800 free, ninth in the 400 medley and 10^th in the 200 medley.
