Charvat Seeded in ITA Central Region

OBU Women's Tennis at ITA Central Region Championships Saturday, Oct. 1 - Monday, Oct. 3 Hosted by Central Oklahoma at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center Tournament Notes

SHAWNEE – Olivia Charvat received the No. 16 seed in the top singles flight and will lead Oklahoma Baptist into the ITA Central Region Championships Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
 
Charvat is the lone Lady Bison to receive a seed in the event featuring the top players from the region. Eight OBU women's tennis players will compete over the weekend in singles and doubles in the single-elimination tournament format.
 
There are a total of 60 competitors in the top flight of singles. Alex Bowers, Madeleine Boepple, and Kim Moosebacher are all in this flight and will look to reach the championship on Monday.
 
Boepple and Moosebacher have difficult draws, and should they win their first match will face the top seed and second seed in the next round, respectively.
 
Moosebacher and Caroline Abbe will once again pair up as doubles partners for the second straight week, and Charvat and Boepple will also compete in the top doubles flight.
 
Veronica Parra received a bye in flight two singles, and waits in the round of 32 for her first opponent. Abbe, Alex Morales, and Megan Bowlin will also compete in flight two singles.
 
Bowers and Morales are doubles partners in flight two doubles, as well as Bowlin and Parra.
