RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist women's tennis claimed two titles Saturday at the Great American Conference Individual Championships.

Kim Moosebacher and
Alex Bowers each took first in their singles flight, and three Lady Bison doubles teams claimed a consolation bracket championship at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex on the campus of Arkansas Tech.

Moosebacher was leading Southern Nazarene's Annan Garcia 4-0 before Garcia retired, giving Moosebacher the flight three singles title.

Bowers defeated Arielle Butler from Harding in straight sets (6-4, 6-2) to claim the flight four singles championship.

Madeleine Boepple and
Olivia Charvat teamed up in flight one doubles, taking down an Ouachita Baptist team 8-5 in the consolation final. Moosebacher and
Caroline Abbe defeated Harding 8-1 in the consolation final for flight two doubles.

The flight four doubles consolation final was claimed by
Megan Bowlin and
Veronica Parra. The OBU duo took down a team from SNU.

After winning the first set 6-2 in her final, Boepple fell 6-4 in the second set and Southeastern Oklahoma State's Alexsandra Reljic won a hard-fought tiebreak 10-7 in flight two singles.

Abbe fell in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) to Annabel Rowlands of Arkansas Tech in the flight five singles final.

Alex Morales and Bowers fell 8-2 to a Southeastern doubles team in the flight three winner's bracket final.

Parra dropped her flight seven consolation singles semifinal match 8-0 to ATU's Vandella Suico.

The Lady Bison will wrap up their fall schedule at the ITA Central Region Tournament, from Sept. 30 – Oct. 3 in Oklahoma City.
