SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist Volleyball is set for Senior Night festivities as they welcome Southeastern Oklahoma State to Bison Hill for the final home match of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. inside the Noble Complex.

Prior to the match, the Lady Bison will be honoring their two graduating seniors,
Shekinah Sharpe and
Sierra VeraCruz.

Oklahoma Baptist (17-11, 11-3 GAC) currently sits tied atop the Great American Conference standings as the squad enters the final week of the regular season. They will be looking for the season sweep over Southeastern Oklahoma State (11-16, 4-10 GAC), who they previously dispatched, 3-1, in Durant earlier this year.

The Lady Bison enter Tuesday's contest riding a three-match win streak. Averaging 11.73 kills per set this season, OBU is led offensively by
Nicole Fleitman and
Cadyn Laing who boast 2.86 and 2.11 kills/set, respectively. They've been aided by
Kynnedy Myers, who through her last three matches has averaged 9.45 assists per set, and currently ranks eighth in the GAC.

Along the back row, VeraCruz is averaging 4.00 digs per set for the year to pace the Lady Bison, who average 17.05 digs/set as a team. Defense at the net has been a strength for OBU throughout the season, paced by
Sophia Couto and Laing at 1.14 and 1.09 blocks per set each.

Southeastern Oklahoma State has won three of their last five outings, but most recently fell in straight sets to Southwestern Oklahoma State this past weekend. They are led offensively by Abby Jameson at a 3.25 kills/set clip, while on defense Caitlin Cosby leads the GAC at 5.62 digs/set.
