Goethe Earns GAC Nod

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Jennifer Goethe is the Great American Conference Defender of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Goethe helped the Lady Bison earn a pair of GAC victories, playing all 180 minutes in the process. In a 3-0 shutout against Southern Nazarene, she helped secure the team's first shutout in GAC play this season and she added an assist on the opening goal. She followed up by anchoring a team effort in a 3-2 win against East Central.
 
The victories have OBU within one game of last year's win total with nine matches remaining on the schedule.
