CONWAY, Ark. – Suzanne Afchain set a pair of pool records as Oklahoma Baptist swam away with the Hendrix Classic Saturday.

Afchain, in the 400 medley relay, established Bob Courtway Pool records in the 50 and 100 meter backstroke to lead off the relay. Afchain,

Victoria Fonville won the event in 3:59.30.

The Lady Bison won every race and one of two diving events  and scored 727 points to finish 267 points ahead of runner-up Henderson State. Texas-Permian Basin was third at 271, followed by Hendrix at 167, Centenary at 159, McMurry at 105, St. Gregory's at 75 and Ozarks at 32.

"It was a pretty good weekend for us, but we still have a lot of work to do," said OBU Coach Sam Freas. "I'm glad we got these wins today."

Fonville won the 50 free in 24.37 and 100 free in 53.67 while Afchain won the 200 free in 1:59.13 and Victoria Peskova took the 500 free in 5:23.83 and 1000 free in 11:07.48.

Afchain won the 200 backstroke in 2:05.50, Avila took the 200 butterfly in 2:13.32, Avila Martinez snared the 200 individual medley in 2:13.90 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:25.59.
