GREENVILLE, S.C. – Oklahoma Baptist Volleyball climbed two spots in the National Christian College Athletic Association Poll, the NCCAA office announced on Tuesdays afternoon. The Lady Bison now sit at No. 4 in the weekly rankings.
Â
Oklahoma Baptist (14-11, 8-3 GAC) claimed a 3-2 victory over Arkansas Tech last week to maintain a piece of first place in the Great American Conference. The win was enough to propel the Lady Bison over No. 5 Campbellsville, claiming 41 points in the poll in the process. With just two matches this week against East Central and Northwestern Oklahoma State, OBU still has room to move up the polls in the coming weeks.
Â
Indiana Wesleyan continues to maintain their spot at the top of the rankings with 60 points, while Cedarville and Northwestern (Minn.) are deadlocked in second place after receiving 50 points.
Â
The Lady Bison return to action on Thursday, Oct. 27 when they host East Central at 7 p.m. inside the Noble Complex. Oklahoma Baptist will be sponsoring their Dig Pink night, and fans are encouraged to wear pink to the match. The first 100 students to arrive to the match will also receive a pink OBU shirt.
