Baseball Receives Rings Saturday

SHAWNEE – Members of the Oklahoma Baptist baseball team will receive their NCCAA championship rings Saturday during a ceremony at halftime of the OBU-Northwestern Oklahoma State football game.
 
The football game, which kicks off at 2 p.m., also is observing breast cancer awareness. Pink Heals will be in attendance with their pink fire truck and pink patrol cars. Fans are encouraged to wear pink.
 
It will be a full day for baseball, which hosts its Alumni Event Saturday morning.
 
Coach Bobby Cox welcomes back the 1996 World Series team, and Matt Page and Julian Merryweather will have their names added to the team's Wall of Honor.
