GREENVILLE, S.C. – Following three wins in as many tries, Oklahoma Baptist Volleyball is on the move in the National Christian College Athletic Association Poll, jumping up one spot to No. 6. The results of the weekly poll were announced on Tuesday afternoon by the NCCAA offices.
Â
Oklahoma Baptist (12-8, 6-1 GAC), No. 7 in last week's poll, won against three different Great American Conference foes last week, including straight-set sweeps of Southwestern Oklahoma State and Henderson State. Two of the wins were on the road, against Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State, respectively. The Lady Bison currently sit alone at the top of the GAC standings.
Â
The top of the poll remains unchanged for a fifth consecutive week, as Indiana Wesleyan maintains its hold of the top spot. Cedarville and Colorado Christian round out the top three.
Â
The Lady Bison return to action Thursday, Oct. 13, when they welcome Southern Arkansas to the Noble Complex for a GAC bout. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
