Murphy, Toritsju Compete at Arkansas Twilight

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist's Korban Murphy and Ayo Toritsju looked to improve their times in a couple events on Friday at the Arkansas Twilight.

Competing at John McDonnell Field, both men earned NCAA qualifying marks.

For Murphy, his 1:48.20 time in the 800 stands as the No. 10 performance in Division II. For Toritsju, he clocked a 47.13 during the 400-meter dash.

OBU stands to send several athletes to Emporia State May 21 for the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships. On May 12, the NCAA will announce those that are selected to compete.
