FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – There were several personal-bests delivered by the Oklahoma Baptist men's track and field team on Friday at Arkansas' John McDonnell Invitational.
The most significant of those was delivered by
Korban Murphy. In the 800-meter run, Murphy took fifth place with an NCAA qualifying and personal-best mark of 1:49.55.
Austen McQueen also PR'd, this time in the 400-hurdles race when he finished in 55.66. He also earned 14th place in the race. Plus,
Boone Bennett finished in 15th in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.44.
Over the 1,500,
Damien Williams and
Josh Kearse PR'd with times of 3:53.84 and 3:54.90, respectively. And then in the 800,
Ira Gikas and
Rylan Nofire earned their best times of that event with marks of 1:54.05 and 1:54.26, respectively.
Lastly,
Ben Burchfield PR'd in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.98.
