NORMAN – There were a few solid marks attained by the Oklahoma Baptist women's track and field team on Friday evening during OU's John Jacobs Invitational.
Among the highlights,
Kiara Stallin took third in the shot put event. That was the top finish for the green and gold on this day. Stallin heaved 14.15 meters which met NCAA outdoor qualifying standards and was a personal best.
In the same event,
Jenn Blackford PR'd with an effort of 13.53m.
During the discus throw,
Lauren Olson also attained a personal-best when she reached 42.63 meters. That was good for seventh place. Junior
JuliAnna Crews also PR'd in the discus, earning 12th place with a throw of 37.75m.
OBU's last top-ten finish was delivered by
Keylee Faudere. During the javelin throw, she earned eighth place (26.06m).
Furthermore,
Zoe Strange took 12th in the 1,500 (5:06.64) while
Vivien Ilschner earned 14th in the 100-meter dash (12.48).
