SHAWNEE – NCAA Division II National Champion and Great American Conference Female Athlete of the Year
Jamora Horace will take part in the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships this weekend.
The former Oklahoma Baptist standout high jumper is one of 15 participants in the event which will take place on Sunday, July 26 at Icahn Stadium in New York City. That competition is slated to start at 3:45 p.m. (ET)
Horace brings a personal-best and OBU outdoor record mark of 1.87 meters (6-1.50) into the competition.
Her 1.87 clearance to win the 2026 D2 Outdoor National Championship was the highest jump recorded at the NCAAs title meet in the last decade, further cementing one of the most dominant performances in recent championship history.
According to the World Athletics 2026 outdoor top lists, Horace's PR of 1.87 meters is currently tied for No. 14 in the United State in the women's high jump, placing her among the nation's elite competitors heading into the USATF Outdoor Championships.
