NCAAs Bound! Bison to Compete in Central Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA Division II Selection Committee unveiled the field of 64 teams that earned a spot to compete in this year's NCAA Men's Basketball Championship and the Oklahoma Baptist Bison (27-3) were chosen.

OBU, members of the Central Region and regular-season champions of the Great American Conference, earned the No. 2 seed and will travel to play GAC foe and No. 7 seed Harding next weekend at Washburn University's Lee Arena in Topeka, Kansas. This is the Bison's first NCAA Tournament berth since the 2020-21 season and third overall appearance.

As for the matchup with Harding (24-7), it will be the third time the Bison will have played the team from Searcy, Ark., this year. The green and gold won both regular-season games by 73-67 and 78-73 scores.

Washburn earned the top seed of the region and will host for the second consecutive season.

Game times will be announced in the next day after a regional call between the schools. Stay tuned to OBUBison.com for ticket and live coverage links.
