SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist junior guard
Terry Coner Jr., was named to the Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List on Sunday by Small College Basketball.
He's the first Bison player to make the top-50 list in program history.
The Birmingham, Ala., native is the main catalyst for the OBU team which has won 12 in a row, owns a 21-2 overall record and is ranked No. 9 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Plus, OBU sits just a single game out of first place in the Great American Conference.
This season, Coner Jr., is second in the GAC in scoring (20.6), 12th in three-point field goal percentage (37.3), fifth in assists (3.5) and fifth in steals (1.7).
