NORMAN – Kiara Stallin earned an event win in the shot put and notched a pair of personal-bests during Friday's Owen Hewitt Invite at the University of Oklahoma.

The freshman's win the shot put came with a heave of 13.37m (43-10.5). That was also a PR. She followed that up with a bronze finish in the weight throw. Her toss of 13.56m (44-6.0) was another PR.

Oklahoma Baptist produced four more top-five finishes. Tenera Grey took third in the long jump (5.56m; 18-3.0) and fourth in the triple jump (11.62m; 38-1.5), both of which were personal-bests.

Jacey Hammon's high-jump performance of 1.60m (5-3.0) was good for fifth place while Jenn Blackford earned fifth in the weight throw (12.30m; 40-4.25). For Blackford, it was a personal-best effort.

Furthermore, Skylar Myers finished in sixth in the triple jump reaching 10.70m (35-1.25).

On Jan. 23, the team will return to competition at Pitt State's Rumble in the Jungle Invitational.
