CLAREMORE – Josh Kearse and
Jacob Tiger of the Oklahoma Baptist men's cross country team finished in ninth and tenth, respectively, during Rogers State's Men's 4-Mile race on Thursday.
Kearse, a junior, clocked in at 20:55.14 while Tiger, a freshman from Tahlequah, completed his first collegiate race in 20:56.47. Fellow freshman
Ostan Hernandez was OBU's third-best finisher, earning a time of 21:25.50 which was good for 26th.
The Bison's fourth- and fifth-point scorers were
Logan Austin and
Hudson Cunningham. They were in 30th and 31st place with times of 21:34.83 and 21:35.81, respectively.
OBU ended up in fourth place after the race's completion, totaling 103 points.
Next on the schedule for the Bison is the Missouri Southern Stampede on Sept. 20.
