SHAWNEE – For the second consecutive year, Oklahoma Baptist men's basketball player
Nathan Wilson was recognized on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
He's the first Bison men's player in the D2 era to earn the honor twice.
A sports and recreation management major, Wilson played in all 29 games with 28 starts. His 37 blocks and 1.3 per-game average were tops in the Great American Conference while his 7.7 rebounding average was third-highest.
Over the course of the season, Wilson shot 44.6 percent from the field and averaged a career-best 9.0 points per game. The Auckland, New Zealand native reached double-figure scoring totals 13 times and pulled down at least 10 rebounds in eight contests.
