FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist freshman
Zachary Williams led the Oklahoma Baptist men's cross country team to a tenth-place finish during the Dallas Baptist Old Glory Gallop on Saturday.
The Lawton native crossed in 22nd place with a time of 24:39.82 during the 8K race.

Levi Haynes was OBU's next-best scorer. He crossed the finish line with a time of 25:21.60 which slotted the Norman native in 61st.
The Bison's third- and fourth- point scorers were
Elijah White (78
th; 25:39.53) and
Jacob Tiger (83
rd; 25:43.76). Lastly,
Hudson Cunningham finished the 8K race in 26:04.28 to round out OBU's scorers.
Butler Community College won the overall team event while Washburn and Metropolitan State University Denver followed in second and third, respectively.
In two weeks, the Bison will return to the course and compete in the Great American Conference Championship on Oct. 25 in Monticello, Ark.
