FORT WORTH, Texas – The Oklahoma Baptist women's track and field team opened its outdoor season over the weekend at TCU's Alumni Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Bison turned in eight top-10 marks, led by a fourth-place finish in the 100m hurdles by Elisabeth Jones. Her time of 14.40 was a personal best and slightly quicker than Kyndall Hicks's 14.64 (personal best), which placed sixth.
Mckayla Schmitt paced OBU's 5000m participants with a time of 18:25.49 that finished eighth. Olivia Lynch and Jade Robinson rounded out the notables, crossing at 10th (18:26.96) and 12th (18:34.80), respectively.
Mckenzie Connell and Kaylen King claimed seventh and 13th in the 1500m, while Delaney Riekert ran an outdoor personal-best 57.31 in the 400m. Riekert's time placed 10th.
In the high jump, Jamora Horace earned eighth with a clearance of 1.60m (5-3).
The 4x100 quartet of Kelechi Christian, Riekert, De'ja Rose, and Olivia Tate took seventh with a time of 47.19.
