SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist men's basketball team will host its third annual Allen Eaker Memorial Golf Tournament at Shawnee Country Club on Friday, October 27. The tournament, renamed the "Allen Eaker Memorial Tournament" in 2022, honors former and late Bison basketball great and father of head coach Jason Eaker.
"First and foremost, any event that honors and benefits OBU basketball and Allen Eaker is significant to me", said Eaker. "We will continue to put time and energy into our golf tourney so that our current players will have all the resources needed to compete on the same playing field as the best programs nationally. We can't compete for conference, regional, and national championships without your financial help every year. If you are reading this, sign up today with your friends or if you can't attend, be a hole sponsor through your workplace. Every dollar matters and is directly invested into our team. Our program, starting with all the former players from the last 60 years and our current young men, is meaningful to so many of us. Go Bison!"
The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. (shotgun start) with lunch provided.
