VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Freshman Trey Bartholomew earned All-America Honorable Mention recognition at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday after a 15th-place finish in the high jump.
The Coweta, Okla., native cleared 2.04m (6'-8.25") as the lone freshman in a field of 17 competitors. Bartholomew entered the weekend with the 16th-best mark in Division II, leaping above 2.11m (6'-11") at the JD Martin Invitational in January.
Bartholomew joins Isaiah Willis, who claimed All-America honors on Friday, as the only Bison in the Division II era to notch All-America nods in field events.
