STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The men's 4x400 meter relay team and Trey Bartholomew took home first place honors in their respective events at the Fast Track Last Chance Invitational on Friday.
For a second straight week, the relay squad of Jax Holland, Jentezen Smith, Marcus Petersen, and Isaiah Willis claimed first place. This time, the squad crossed the finish line in 3:16.19, their third-fastest time of the indoor season.
Trey Bartholomew recorded the first overall win of his career with a 2.05m (6' 8.75") leap in the high jump, a qualifying NCAA Division II mark. Jonathan Elix trailed in third after clearing 1.95m (6' 4.75").
Isaiah Willis took second in the long jump, leaping 6.99m (22' 11.25"), while Matthew Higdon placed third in the weight throw with a heave of 17.77m (58' 4").
For the women, Olivia Tate finished third and fifth in the 60m and 200m. Tate ran a personal best of 7.68 in the prelims before clocking a 7.73 in the finals in the 60m. In the 200m, she charted a time of 25.2.
Rounding out the action Anisha Henderson's 5.74m (18' 10") leap in the long jump, which placed third.
